As the Senior Manager, Global Medical Affairs, you’ll be a key leader in shaping and executing Cordis’ global medical affairs strategy across multiple markets. This role offers the opportunity to build and scale the function from the ground up—establishing infrastructure, driving scientific engagement, and supporting product development and commercialization initiatives.
You will:
Define and execute the global Medical Affairs strategy and roadmap in collaboration with R&D, Clinical, Regulatory, and Commercial teams
Build and harmonize global Medical Affairs systems, SOPs, and governance frameworks
Lead strategic evidence generation, including investigator-initiated and real-world evidence studies
Develop and oversee MSL teams, ensuring strong scientific exchange and alignment with business priorities
Cultivate and maintain relationships with KOLs, clinical advisors, and medical societies to strengthen Cordis’ clinical and scientific leadership
Provide medical and strategic input to clinical trials, lifecycle management, and go-to-market plans
Ensure all activities adhere to medical, ethical, and regulatory compliance standards

What You’ll Need
Education & Experience
Advanced degree: MD, PhD, or PharmD (or equivalent) required
5–8+ years of experience in Medical Affairs within MedTech, biotech, or pharma
Strong background in cardiovascular, endovascular, or interventional procedures
Proven experience building or scaling a global Medical Affairs function
Demonstrated success in leading or overseeing MSL teams
Skills & Competencies
Deep understanding of clinical research, medical evidence, and regulatory frameworks
Skilled in KOL engagement, scientific exchange, and medical communication
Excellent strategic planning, organizational, and project management skills
Strong analytical ability to interpret data and medical literature
Clear, confident written and verbal communicator, comfortable engaging across all levels
Collaborative, adaptable, and proactive problem solver with a “can-do” attitude
Proficient in Microsoft Office and medical documentation tools
Willingness to travel within the US (50% or more at times) and occasionally internationally (~20–30%)
Perks of the Job
Compensation:
Base Salary: $185,000-$200,000
Bonus: 15% of base salary, based on business and personal performance ($27,750 - $30,000)
