Why You Should Join Us

They are seeking a driven, self-starting Sales Representative to build and grow their presence in Illinois and Indiana, with a primary focus on the Chicago metro area. You’ll be selling their flagship InstyMeds pharmaceutical dispenser to healthcare providers across various care settings — including hospitals, urgent care centers, employer wellness clinics, and physician-owned practices.

This is a hunter-style role ideal for someone with strong B2B sales experience who thrives in outside sales, long sales cycles, and building relationships from the ground up.

What You’ll Do

As a Regional Sales Representative you will:

  • Prospect, cold call, and door-knock into clinics, hospitals, ERs, and corporate health centers

  • Manage full-cycle sales — from lead generation and education to demo, close, and post-sale support

  • Educate stakeholders including physicians, front desk staff, pharmacists, and C-suite decision-makers

  • Customize sales approach for different buyer types: high-volume hospitals vs. smaller clinics

  • Represent InstyMeds as a trusted partner — not just a vendor — emphasizing long-term value

  • Maintain detailed tracking and follow-up using Pipedrive CRM

  • Collaborate closely with leadership, including active sales support from our VP of Sales

  • Attend 1-week onboarding training at HQ in Minnesota

  • Travel regionally within your territory (mileage reimbursed)

What You’ll Need

  • Must-Haves:

    • 2+ years of B2B sales experience (e.g., payroll, office equipment, uniforms, logistics)

    • Proven hunter mentality: self-starter, door-knocker, and unafraid of cold calls

    • "Startup" mentality: entrepreneurial, adaptable, resilient

    • Thick skin and stamina for long sales cycles (6-7 months typical for first deal)

    • Professionalism and emotional intelligence to speak with everyone from front desk to C-suite

    • Respect for pharmacists and the healthcare ecosystem

    • Located in or near the Chicago metro area

    Preferred:

    • Experience in healthcare, pharmacy, or medical device sales

    • Knowledge of Illinois and Indiana healthcare systems and regulatory environments

  • Base Salary: $100,000 + uncapped commission.
