Safety Manager - Haskell, TX

Construction Safety Manager Location: Haskell, TXDuration: 8+ Months (Start 3/30)Type: 1099 Contractor Position Details Hourly Rate: $47.60/hr Per Diem: $130/Day on seven days Completion Bonus: $150/month Pay Frequency: Weekly Schedule: 56 hours per week, 1st shift, spanning 7 days, consisting of four 10-hour shifts and three 8-hour shifts. Project Scope The construction safety manager will oversee safety for structural steel on a data center project Qualifications 4 Year Degree in Safety, and/or BCSP Certification (Minimum CHST) OSHA 30 within the past 2 3+ years of construction safety experience Key Responsibilities Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments Support incident investigations, report findings, and implement corrective actions Deliver safety training and orientation for employees, subcontractors, and new hires Collaborate with project teams to proactively identify safety risks and mitigate hazards Maintain safety performance, incident, and compliance documentation and reports Promote a safety-first culture across all levels of the organization Skills & Knowledge Skills: Excellent public speaking and communication abilities Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Ability to work independently and collaboratively Professionalism and confidentiality with sensitive information Knowledge: Strong understanding of EHS and industry regulatory standards in construction Ability to effectively communicate safety principles and regulations Equal Opportunity EmployerSheakley is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all individuals, regardless of race, color, religion, age, sex, marital status, national origin, disability, or any other protected status.
