Safety Manager - Cincinnati, OH

Construction Safety Manager Location: Cincinnati, OHDuration: 12 Months (Start: March 16, 2025) Type: 1099 Contractor Job Details Hourly Rate: $56/HR (local) $49/hr (non-local) Per Diem: $125/Day on seven days if over 50 miles from the project site Completion Bonus: $150/month Pay: Weekly Schedule: M-S 10-12/HR Days, possible Sunday work when needed Project Scope The construction safety manager will oversee safety operations for the explosion and fire restoration project to bring production lines back online within the next few months. Scope includes removing damaged lines and installing new high-pressure piping, with extensive stainless welding and basic lifting/rigging.Initial work will require suits and respirators due to soot and potential chemical hazards. Qualifications Candidates must have the following requirements: OSHA 30 5+ years of Chemical plant or food processing plant construction background CPR, Fall protection, LOTO, Confined space Key Responsibilities Conduct project safety inspections and employee orientations Provide safety training as needed Basic safety - toolbox, observe & report, inspections, JHAs.
