Position Overview:
ROMTech is now looking for an RCM Customer Service Billing Specialist to join our growing Revenue Cycle team and provide compassionate and efficient support to patients using our technology.
As a Customer Service Billing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service and support to our patients. The Customer Service Billing Specialist will be responsible for managing patient inquiries, addressing issues, and providing resolution. Working closely with internal teams, you will ensure timely and accurate resolution of patient issues while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
This is a fulltime position based onsite at our Clearwater, FL corporate office with potential for growth with a Monday – Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm EST schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patient inquiries related to our RCM services, including billing, coding, claims processing, and reimbursement.
- Respond promptly and professionally to patient inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels.
- Identify and troubleshoot patient issues, providing timely resolution or escalating as necessary to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including billing specialists, coding experts, and account managers, to address patient needs and resolve issues effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and follow up on open issues to ensure timely resolution.
- Continuously monitor patient satisfaction and identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance the customer experience.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in customer service or client support role, preferably in the healthcare industry or revenue cycle management.
- Understanding of healthcare revenue cycle processes, including billing, coding, and claims management.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely to a diverse audience.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to think critically to resolve client issues effectively.
- Proficiency in using customer service software, CRM systems, and other tools to manage client interactions and track resolution progress.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
- Positive attitude, empathy, and dedication to delivering outstanding customer service.
- Experience using a CRM system, preferred.
- Ability to commute to our office in Clearwater, FL.
- Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period.
- Moderate noise (i.e., phone calls, online meetings, computer audio)
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.
- Regular, predictable attendance is required.
