This is a R&D Project Manager role in Roseville, MN. This position is responsible for overseeing and managing development projects within the R&D group. This candidate will coordinate with cross-functional teams, including but not limited to R&D, Operations, Finance, Sales, Marketing, Quality and Regulatory to ensure that all deliverables are completed correctly and delivered on time.

As a R&D Project Manager, you will:

  • Create and manage the integration of project schedules, scope, team resources and budget. Ensure the project is staffed appropriately, completed on time, within scope and budget, and in accordance with any other constraints.
     
  • Develop project documentation necessary to capture project purpose, progress, and achievement of key milestones, including project charters, communication plans, design control documentation, status reports and other outputs.
     
  • Communicate effectively to senior management and key stakeholders by providing accurate updates, ensuring appropriate levels of engagement, monitoring key performance indicators, and other factors necessary to the success of the project.
     
  • Lead a multi-functional core team from Feasibility through Commercial Launch, through the proper execution of Design Controls.
     
  • Work closely with various subject matter experts within R&D, Operations, Finance, Sales, Marketing, Quality and Regulatory to create business cases, gather requirements, outline deliverables and establish project plans.
     
  • Track progress and proactively communicate the impact of changes (e.g. scope, cross-functional resources, timelines, risks, costs, etc.) to stakeholders.
     
  • Ensure that teams are equipped and prepared per the appropriate phase requirements to present at key review meetings
     
  • Exhibit professional behavior with both internal/external business associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the company’s policies and practices; build productive internal/external working relationships.
     
  • Understand the quality consequences that may result from poor management of a specific project or improper execution of an initiative.
     
  • Carry out duties in compliance with established business policies, and other duties as assigned, according to the changing needs of the business.

What You’ll Need

  • Basic Qualifications

     

    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field

       

    • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Project Management within the healthcare industry or related field

       

    • Extensive experience leading projects to completion

       

  • Preferred Qualifications

     

    • PMP certification or on a path to certification

       

    • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Project, etc.) and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Hybrid, Waterfall) to effectively plan, track, and deliver projects

       

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey project expectations, updates, and feedback clearly to stakeholders at all levels

Compensation: 

  • $160K base + 15% bonus (~$184K total comp)
