We operate commercial farms in Ohio, Kentucky, Georgia, Texas, South Carolina, and Colorado, packhouses in Indiana, Virginia, and Washington, and research and development facilities in Arkansas, Israel, and the Netherlands.We've grown significantly through the acquisitions of Kalera and Soli Organic, and we're just getting started.If you're passionate about sustainability, food, and building something that matters, we'd love to have you on the team.POSITION OVERVIEW The Quality Technician 3 is responsible for driving the 80 Acres quality and food safety program across all processes at the site. With strong understanding of Food Safety and Quality principles the Quality & Safety Technician will lead site quality & safety team members to perform process audits, monitoring and verification checks, shelf-life evaluations and collection of food safety and quality data as applicable.  Key responsibilities and duties: Monitor and verify compliance with food safety and quality programs and procedures on a day-to-day basis.Ability to lead quality & safety teams on a day-to-day basis and as a backup for site Quality lead.Deliver training to ensure seamless execution of tasks for new operations and processes.Identify, escalate, and investigate food safety and quality opportunities at the site, including through corrective action implementation.Ensure site compliance with food safety regulations.Execute quality, safety and continuous improvement projects as needed. Qualifications: 1-3 years’ experience in quality or food safety in food processing environment.Proficient inuseof computer systems and programs including detailed data collection.HACCP or PCQI certification, preferred.Ability to work in a team environment.Degree or applicable experience in Agriculture, Food Science, Chemistry (Preferred) ENVIRONMENT Repetitive motion throughout the shiftStanding or walking for a long duration of timeCrouching and kneelingLifting upto 50lbsWill be exposed to 39-degree temperatures when working in the leafy packaging area  BENEFITS WE OFFER YOU  At 80 Acres, we believe taking care of our people is just as important as taking care of our plants.
