They are looking for a driven, mission-aligned National Sales Representative to lead InstyMeds’ expansion within the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) and related federal healthcare systems. This is a high-impact, hunter-style role ideal for someone with strong medical / capital / federal sales experience who thrives in complex, long-cycle sales environments and can navigate government procurement processes.
You’ll be focused on building strategic relationships across the VA system — including VISNs, VA Medical Centers (VAMCs), CBOCs, and other veteran-serving health facilities. Your goal: to make it easier and faster for veterans to access critical medications when and where they need them.
What You’ll Do
As the National Sales Representative – VA Channel, you will:
Own national sales efforts targeting the Veterans Affairs healthcare system and other federal agencies (e.g., DoD clinics, IHS)
Prospect and engage decision-makers at VA hospitals, outpatient clinics, and regional networks (VISNs)
Navigate complex federal procurement processes including GSA schedules, VA contracts, and prime vendor partnerships
Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation and solution education to product demo, stakeholder alignment, and closing
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (regulatory, implementation, clinical, and leadership) to ensure alignment with VA standards and protocols
Act as a trusted advisor, presenting the long-term value of InstyMeds to physicians, pharmacists, procurement officers, and administrators
Travel nationally as needed (est. 30–50%) to VA sites, conferences, and government procurement events
What You’ll Need
3+ years of B2B sales experience — ideally in federal, healthcare, or medical technology sectors
Strong understanding of the VA or federal healthcare ecosystem
Proven track record in long-cycle, complex solution sales
"Hunter" mentality: self-driven, tenacious, and comfortable with cold outreach
Ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders: from front-line clinical staff to VA contracting officers and C-suite leaders
Experience with federal sales processes (RFPs, government contracts, etc.)
Willingness to travel nationally
High level of professionalism, emotional intelligence, and respect for the mission of veteran healthcare
