This is a Global Marketing Manager role in the Palmetto, FL area. You will be responsible for working closely with the Chief Commercial Officer, marketing colleagues, any direct reports & cross functional senior leaders to define/reinforce a vision for the brand, market penetration, participate in the creation and maintenance of strategic plans, design business strategies to actively pursue global market opportunities and develop & execute product launch plans in support of the strategic plan. Work closely with the Sales Team (direct/indirect) and cross functional company stakeholders to execute launch plans and achieve financial forecasts. Spend appropriate time in the field with sales reps and customers as a key source of intelligence for promotional strategies, selling tactics, sales training, surgical techniques, and KOL engagement
What You’ll Do
As a Global Marketing Manager, you will:
Develop product launch strategies and detailed plans to drive product penetration, brand awareness, an enthusiastic loyal customer following, and high stakeholder satisfaction.
Work closely with commercial colleagues and direct reports to effectively use various promotional and communication vehicles (digital and print media, rep and customer incentives, DTC, tradeshows, etc) available to execute the product launch strategy.
Design and implement effective sales training programs.
Execute the launch strategy that leads to successful market penetration and achievement of corporate financial goals.
Collaborate with commercial and medical affairs colleagues to execute medical education programs in support of commercial launches, as well as drive dissemination of pre and post clinical results.
Define and test messaging for products and brand perception with external stakeholders
Participate in the forecasting process for all products within responsibility area.
Lead pricing discussions/analysis with internal stakeholders as it relates to product positioning in market as well as other key business targets. Support key account contracting process as needed.
Drive and support distributor and direct sales team efforts. Create and implement marketing materials and sales tools to increase engagement.
Maintain product dashboards and use sales analytics to monitor execution and adjust plans when appropriate.
Contribute to identification and evaluation of external new business opportunities in addition to organic product development. Support pediatric sector penetration strategies.
Time in front of customers, assessing needs, discussing ideas & validating their use of our product, and driving brand awareness and adoption.
Travel with field based team to see opportunities and challenges from their perspective, help teach/educate the field team on products and technology, reinforce product positioning, and sales tactics as defined in the marketing plans.
Identify and develop KOL relationships to support peer adoption.
Provide market intelligence in support of global selling efforts and targeting.
Works with marketing colleagues to develop commercial plans to enter key international markets (TBD).
Lead a team of direct reports, communicate vision and direction, assess talent and employ those talents to accomplish the marketing goals. Inspires and motivates team members. (TBD)
Manages assigned upstream product development projects to support business needs.
What You’ll Need
Education: A four year bachelor’s degree, with strong science, marketing, and/or sales background.
Either an MBA or successful commercial experience is required.
Experience: Minimum five years of marketing responsibility in the medical device sector.
Orthopedic medical device experience a plus. Extensive experience commercializing medical device products, strategic and financial planning, market research, sales support, and new product development.
Leadership: Evidence of creativity, strategic planning ability, and marketing strategy/execution in the area of medical devices.
High EQ. Demonstrated resiliency, peer leadership and positive culture building.
Technical: Must be fluent with medical device concepts and terminology. Working knowledge of the technical aspects of device(s) in the medical field.
Selling and Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and interpersonal skills, seminar presentations, individual and small group mentoring/facilitation, and promotional/technical writing.
Must be able to communicate effectively with key opinion leading surgeons and sales people.
Financial: Demonstrated ability to estimate markets, and forecast potential sales/market share for medical device and instrumentation. Experience using XLS and financial modeling required.
Other: Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects. Enjoys and works well with other people in a team environment.

Base: $150-180k based on experience
Total Comp: $165-212k
