This is an Associate Territory Manager role Philly/NJ where you’ll be responsible for supporting territory strategy and tactics as directed by aligned territory manager(s) and regional manager. Objectives will include growing market share, building long-term relationships, achieving maximum sales profitability, and achieving assigned quotas.

What You’ll Do

As an Associate Territory Manager, you will:

  • Establishes a daily cadence of presence in customer accounts by way of sales calls, case coverage, stroke calls, and training/education.

  • Completes a thorough analysis of the territory and identifies key target accounts, working closely alongside the assigned Territory Manager.

  • Generates and follows up on sales leads.

  • Communicates with customers and leads to identify and understand their account needs and patient population; identifies opportunities to introduce Rapid Medical technology.

  • Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any issues that may arise post-sale.

  • Resolves customer complaints and questions by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.

  • Strategically and thoroughly introduces customers to new products, services, and enhancements.

  • Provide in-service and clinical information to end users in and around the procedure rooms and surgical suites.

  • Maintains detailed reports of sales activities, case coverage, orders, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship details.

  • Supports market development efforts to increase the number of patients available to receive our treatment.

  • Maintains and increases professional and technical knowledge by on-the-job training, attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.

  • Monitor competition within the assigned territory.

  • Ensures appropriate communication processes are established within and across functional groups.

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and/or relevant work experience.

  • 2+ years of med device sales experience (neurovascular/vascular preferred; or other cardiac specialties) with documented sales success.

    • Open to industry clinical sales specialists and/or clinicians within the neurovascular/vascular field looking to transition into med device sales.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close and exceed targets.

  • Proven ability to position products against competitors.

  • Strategic mindset and problem-solving skills. Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Highly motivated.

  • Valid US driver’s license & active auto liability insurance. Comfortable overseeing territory parameters.

  • Ability to maintain vendor credentialing standards consistent with hospital account requirements.

Compensation: 

  • Base: $100K

    • Variable: $125K

  • Avg Total Comp: $225K+
