This is an Area Sales Manager role in the SoCal area. You will be responsible for driving sales, supporting procedures, and developing key accounts within an assigned territory for Innova Vascular. This role requires direct selling to physicians and hospitals, delivering case support, managing VAC submissions and contracting activities, and building strong, long-term customer relationships while achieving consistent quarter-over-quarter sales growth. The Area Sales Manager will also be responsible for territory planning, reporting, and supporting the successful commercialization of Innova Vascular’s product portfolio.

What You’ll Do

As an Area Sales Manager, you will:

  • Achieve or exceed sales quota and territory growth objectives.

  • Develop and execute a territory business plan aligned with company goals.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with interventional physicians, hospital administrators, lab managers, and supply chain teams.

  • Provide in-field case support, including procedure coverage, clinical troubleshooting, and product expertise.

  • Train and educate physicians, hospital staff, and support personnel on the safe and effective use of company products.

  • Submit and manage Value Analysis Committee (VAC) applications through approval.

  • Support contracting activities with hospitals and IDNs in collaboration with sales leadership.

  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activity in the company CRM system, including call notes, pipeline management, and opportunity tracking.

  • Prepare and deliver accurate territory sales forecasts and business reviews.

  • Monitor competitive activity, market trends, and account dynamics: reporting key findings to sales leadership.

  • Manage product inventory within the territory, ensuring proper rotation, usage tracking, and compliance with company policies.

  • Provide input on product positioning, messaging, and strategies for overcoming barriers to adoption.

  • Partner with the clinical and marketing teams to execute territory-based programs, physician education events, and product evaluations.

  • Collaborate with other sales team members to share best practices and support the growth of the overall sales organization.

  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

  • Travel within the territory to support customers, case coverage, and account development.

  • Supporting cases for the Company’s ongoing 'TRUST' study in your area.

What You’ll Need

  • Minimum 5 years of medical device sales experience, with at least 3 years in peripheral vascular intervention. Strong preference given to prior successful VTE thrombectomy experience.

  • Proven track record of sales success in the medical device industry.

  • Deep existing relationships with interventional physicians, staff, and hospital administrators.

  • Strong clinical knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and thrombectomy procedures.

  • Familiarity with hospital purchasing processes and IDN structures.

  • Experience quickly achieving VAC approvals and navigating hospital value analysis committees.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

  • Highly proficient in MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, and other business applications.

  • Strong CRM and pipeline management skills.

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with leadership.
