Full-time Description Job Title: Safety ManagerCompany: Lippert MechanicalLocation: Kansas City, MissouriEmployment Type: Full-TimePosition SummaryLippert Mechanical is seeking a proactive and experienced Safety Manager to lead and enhance our safety programs across assigned business units. This role is responsible for promoting a strong safety culture, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting field operations through training, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement initiatives.The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in both field and office environments and is passionate about creating safe, compliant, and high-performing job sites.Key ResponsibilitiesChampion a company-wide safety culture by working closely with employees at all levelsDevelop, implement, and continuously improve safety policies, programs, and proceduresEnsure compliance with OSHA, ANSI, and all federal, state, and local safety regulationsConduct regular job site inspections and risk assessments to identify and mitigate hazardsLead incident investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective action implementationMaintain accurate safety records, including OSHA logs and incident documentationPrepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual safety reportsDevelop and deliver safety training programs, including new hire orientation and ongoing educationOrganize and facilitate safety committee meetings and follow up on action itemsServe as the primary point of contact for all safety-related questions, concerns, and regulatory inquiriesSupport PPE evaluation, selection, and complianceAssist with permits and required regulatory reportingCollaborate with project teams, customers, and vendors to ensure safety requirements are metSkills & CompetenciesStrong knowledge of OSHA standards and safety regulationsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to influence and engage employees at all levelsStrong organizational and time management skillsDetail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilitiesProficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentWork Environment & Physical RequirementsCombination of office and field environmentsAbility to sit, stand, and walk for extended periodsFrequent job site visits, which may include exposure to construction environmentsEqual Opportunity & AccommodationsLippert Mechanical is an equal opportunity employer. Requirements QualificationsEducation:High school diploma or GED requiredDegree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field (or equivalent experience) preferredExperience:2–5 years of experience in a safety role, preferably in construction, HVAC, or mechanical environmentsCertifications:OSHA 30 Certification requiredCHST, CSP, and/or First Aid/CPR certifications are a plus Salary Description $65,000 - $100,000 yearly
