What You'll Do

As a Regional Sales Director, you will:

Team Leadership & Performance Management:

  • Lead and develop teams consisting of Senior Account Directors, Territory Managers, Account Executives, and Business Development Representatives
  • Drive consistent achievement of team sales targets and growth objectives across all product lines
  • Implement collaborative team structures that eliminate departmental silos and promote shared accountability
  • Coach and mentor team members to enhance their consultative selling capabilities, particularly in technology solutions
  • Foster culture of high performance, collaboration, and work-life fit

Strategic Account Development:

  • Oversee strategic partnerships with health systems and major healthcare networks
  • Ensure consistent approach to accounts across geographies, coordinating both local and enterprise decision makers
  • Drive long-term business relationships designed to maximize direct and indirect growth opportunities
  • Collaborate with C-suite executives, including CFOs, CTOs, clinical leaders, and procurement administrators
  • Manage complex multi-year contract negotiations and extended sales cycles

Technology Sales Leadership:

  • Lead the transition from traditional hardware sales to comprehensive technology solution selling
  • Conduct thorough operational assessments to identify customer workflow challenges and optimization opportunities
  • Present integrated solutions that address specific operational needs rather than generic product demonstrations
  • Drive adoption of subscription-based models and comprehensive service agreements
  • Ensure team proficiency in consultative selling methodologies for complex technology implementations

Business Operations & Strategy:

  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with corporate objectives
  • Generate accurate sales forecasts and comprehensive performance reports
  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts with clinical specialists, implementation teams, and support organizations
  • Maintain variety of contacts within the company to exchange information related to sales goals, product availability, pricing strategies, and market intelligence
  • Support new business development efforts in an aggressive yet collaborative manner

Territory & Market Management:

  • Manage assigned geographic territories comprising multiple regions of the United States
  • Travel to maintain face-to-face customer relationships and support field team activities
  • Coordinate resources available through industry channels and strategic partnerships
  • Ensure market penetration strategies maximize competitive advantages

What You'll Need

Experience Requirements:

  • Healthcare technology or medical solutions background preferred
  • Portfolio management experience across multiple product lines
  • Track record in team-based compensation environments
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Experience in clinical operations, healthcare IT, or medical technology markets is a plus
