Revenue Cycle Analyst is responsible for supporting the development and implementation of business intelligence strategies and solutions that optimize revenue cycle operations. This role requires a deep understanding of data analytics, revenue cycle management, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. The analyst will report to the Vice President Revenue Cycle Management and work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decision-making and enhance financial performance.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assists in the development and execution of business intelligence strategies to support revenue cycle management.
- Participates in design, development, and maintenance of dashboards, reports, and analytics tools that provide insights into revenue cycle performance.
- Collaborate with revenue cycle leaders to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics that drive financial and operational improvements.
- Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for revenue enhancement and cost reduction.
- Support the Development of predictive models and advanced analytics to forecast revenue and identify potential risks.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of revenue cycle data through robust data governance practices.
- Provide actionable recommendations to senior leadership based on data analysis and insights.
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure seamless integration of data systems and tools.
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in business intelligence and revenue cycle management.
- Support the development and implementation of revenue cycle improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accrediting standards related to data security and privacy.
- Participate in the development of quality improvement activities designed to enhance revenue cycle processes and outcomes.
