If you thrive in environments where you are inspecting steel in a manufacturing setting, our Quality Technician role might be the perfect fit for you!   THE ROLE The Quality Technician is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our products   Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Perform visual quality check on all finished products. • Performs routine Incoming and In-process dimensional and visual inspections based on established quality specifications. • Inspects product samples to evaluate the quality of the full product batch prior to release to finished goods inventory • Initiate Non-Conforming Material reports as required • Identify and ensure the movement of non-conforming materials to designated quarantine areas • Input accurate and timely data into quality reporting systems. • Ensure inspections are timely, effective, and routinely maintained. • Trains the production team on quality control measures to improve product excellence as needed. • Perform product and manufacturing process audits on the shop floor. • Communicate with team members and supervisors regarding quality issues found. • Performs required SAP Transactions. • Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with company policies. • Performs other duties as assigned or required Qualifications Professional Qualifications • Must be able to use measuring devices. • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in inventory management is a plus. • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and information. • Proficiency in using inventory management so􀅌ware and other relevant technical tools. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping. • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage various aspects of inventory control simultaneously. • Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members, vendors, and suppliers. • Ability to work independently and take initiative in problem-solving and process improvement. • Experience with SAP preferred • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
