Purpose:To oversee the audits of process and products within the department to which they are assigned. This includes control plan audits and the verification of data taken on a daily basis to verify that process controls are being utilizedQualifications:High School Diploma or GED3+ years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment preferredKnowledge:Business Writing General Computer Operation Manufacturing Concepts High School DiplomaProficient in computer operationProficient in Microsoft Office Applications preferredGood Communication SkillsPlanning and organizational skillsMain Tasks:Interface with quality engineering functions to secure documentation needed for successful auditsDaily process audits designed to verify the process controls in use are being utilized and functioningProcess AuditsEnsure specifications are met according to the Control Plan in assigned areaCreate and Follow up on Quality AlertsAssist with Containment when defects occurDownload reading into the color care softwareAdvise the color harmony team when the readings are out of tolerance Responsible for measuring orange peel and gloss using the Wave scan and Gloss metersAssist the Color Technicians when neededPerform related office and clerical functions such as, data entry and filing.
