Manufacturing Engineer 

Develops, plans, coordinates, and implements large manufacturing engineering projects, or several projects of a smaller scale consisting of complex features. Provides technical expertise, problem solving, and guidance to support plant production and commitments. Is considered the subject matter expert for equipment in manufacturing.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Applies intensive and diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices and manufacturing methods (machining, tooling, and gaging) in broad areas of assignments.               
  • Applies advanced techniques and modifies theories, processes, and/or practices within scope of assignment.                   
  • Works independently, exercising a good deal of judgment.  
  • Receives guidance only on overall objectives and policy matters.               
  • Works closely with manufacturing personnel to resolve process problems related to machinery testing and/or gaging.                  
  • May be required to perform miscellaneous related duties as assigned. 
  • May be required to perform miscellaneous related job duties or special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Must display a high level of maturity and sound judgment.
  • Attention to detail and solid organization skills required.
  • Must communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering/Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in Manufacturing environment and/or related area.

Travel Requirements:

10%
