This job is in Mattoon, IL.You will be responsible for guiding safety, health, and environmental initiatives at the company.Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, such as OSHA and EPAFoster an incident and accident-free workplace through education, coaching, training.Analyze and take corrective action on accidents involving people or property.Create and monitor safety and accident prevention statistics.Assist with workers’ compensation reporting.QualificationsBachelor’s degree, in Safety, Safety Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or Environmental Health and Safety. Two-year degrees may be considered with good experience.One or two years' experience with a four year degree, in a manufacturing environment. More experience is necessary with a two year degree. Must have experience in an EHS role with a manufacturing company.Military and other experience in workplace safety will be considered in lieu of a degree.
