EHS ManagerLocation: York, PAPay: $80-100k/yr.Description:The Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining policies and programs that ensure a safe, healthy, and environmentally compliant workplace. This role plays a critical part in fostering a safety-first culture and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations in a discrete heavy manufacturing environment.Qualifications:5+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant regulations.Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), or similar credential preferred.Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EHS management software.US Citizenship at time of hireJob Duties:Safety Program ManagementDevelop and enforce safety policies, procedures, and training programs.Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions.Environmental ComplianceEnsure compliance with environmental regulations (EPA, DEP, etc.).Manage hazardous waste disposal, air and water permits, and sustainability initiatives.Maintain records and submit required environmental reports.Training & CommunicationDeliver safety training for new hires and ongoing employee education.Promote safety awareness through campaigns, meetings, and signage.Serve as the point of contact for all EHS-related matters.Regulatory & ReportingMaintain OSHA logs and ensure timely reporting of incidents.Interface with regulatory agencies during inspections and audits.Stay current with changes in EHS laws and regulations.Emergency PreparednessDevelop and maintain emergency response plans.Coordinate drills and ensure readiness for fire, chemical, or weather-related emergencies.Benefits:Health/Dental InsuranceLife/Disability InsuranceRetirement PlanFlexible Spending AccountVacation and Paid HolidayAll offers of employment are contingent upon the successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
