Coordinates efforts to evaluate, select, qualify, rate, monitor and improve external quality. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Supplier Quality Data Maintenance: Work with the External Quality Manager to identify supplier priorities for Food Grade materials. Contact suppliers to gather critical quality data in TraceGains. Conduct follow-up phone calls to unresponsive suppliers. Work with internal business partners, such as Purchasing and Sales, to evaluate supplier performance. Collaborate with the Quality Data Management team on new product setup. Organize supplier data following a systematic process. Supplier Audits: Lead external quality audits based on audit schedule to ensure compliance to Hawkins Quality Expectations Manage supplier corrective action follow-up. Supplier Qualification & Re-evaluation: Document qualification of new suppliers and materials and submit for approval. Document re-evaluation of existing suppliers according to Supplier Approval program and submit for approval. Continuous Improvement: Streamline the collection process for gathering supplier data. Identify improvements in storing and communicating supplier data. Perform other miscellaneous related duties, as needed. ABOUT YOU: Bachelor Degree in scientific or related discipline. Audit experience preferred Experience in Corrective Action Preventive Action programs preferred. Minimum three years’ experience managing quality and/or technical documentation. Minimum three-years’ experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment (ISO, SQF, FAMI-Q5, IPEC, GMP, cGMP, etc.) Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft applications - Outlook, Word, Excel Problem solving, trouble shooting, time management and organization skills. Ability to communicate well with all disciplines and levels at the facility and corporate.
