The Senior Electromechanical Design Engineer will lead the design, development, testing, and support of new product solutions in the intelligent power grid. This role involves designing controller products with microprocessor-based controls used in power distribution automation, including capacitor controls, source transfer controls, electronic fuses, and patented peer-to-peer feeder restoration systems. The engineer will also be responsible for analog and unique power supply design, documentation creation, and ensuring compliance with product safety and quality standards.
Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

7–10 years of hands-on experience designing and testing electromechanical products (e.g., Inverters, Drives, Servers, Network Switches)

Proficiency in analog/mixed-signal circuit design and PCB layout

Practical experience with manufacturing builds and modification of electronic products

Familiarity with components like PCBA’s, cable harnesses, terminals, and fasteners

Skilled in SolidWorks for 3D modeling (sheet metal, plastic, cable routing)

Experience conducting tolerance stack-up analysis

Knowledge of IEC, UL, CSA, NEMA standards, and National Electric Code

Willingness to travel up to 25%
