Full-time Description   Join ENTEK in Terre Haute, IN  ENTEK is seeking an experienced and driven Site Safety Manager to lead safety initiatives at our growing operations. If you are passionate about building strong safety cultures, influencing teams, and leading in a high-hazard, fast-paced environment, this is your opportunity.What You’ll DoLead and own all site safety programs during construction, commissioning, and operationsManage contractor safety, job hazard analysis (JHA), permit-to-work systems, and  safe work practicesDevelop and sustain a comprehensive safety management system aligned with regulatory standards and industry best practicesServe as the primary safety advisor to site leadership, engineering, maintenance, and operations teamsDrive  safety integration into equipment design, processes, and capital projectsLead and facilitate the plant safety committee to promote engagement and continuous improvementMaintain a strong field presence, coaching employees and leaders on safety accountabilityDesign and deliver safety training programs for employees and contractorsLead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementationMonitor and report safety performance metrics (KPIs), trends, and improvement initiativesLead OSHA compliance efforts, audits, and regulatory inspectionsAdvise leadership on safety risks, regulatory changes, and mitigation strategiesBe available to respond to safety concerns on a 24/7 basis as needed Requirements What You’ll BringMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or a related field8+ years of experience in occupational safety/EHS rolesAt least 2 years in a leadership or program management capacityExperience supporting construction, startup, or commissioning environmentsStrong leadership, communication, and influencing skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience in lithium battery materials, chemical manufacturing, or other high-hazard environmentsExperience building safety programs in greenfield or rapidly growing facilitiesProfessional certification (CSP preferred; CIH or CHMM also valued)Key Skills & CapabilitiesStrong leadership and ability to drive accountability across all organizational levelsDeep knowledge of safety regulations, compliance, and best practicesAnalytical mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making skillsAbility to influence culture and lead behavioral safety initiativesExcellent communication and training delivery skillsWorking EnvironmentBased in a dynamic manufacturing and construction settingExposure to industrial environments, including machinery, noise, and chemicalsA combination of field and office work with significant on-site presencePhysical activity, including standing, walking, and lifting (up to 50 lbs occasionally)On-call availability for safety-related incidents as neededAbout ENTEKENTEK is more than a manufacturing company; we’re a values-driven team:Respect – valuing every individual and contributionIntegrity – doing what is right, alwaysInnovation  – advancing technology and ideasCommitment  – to our people, customers, and futureENTEK is more than a manufacturing companywe’re a values-driven team:a role where you can shape safety culture and make a lasting impact.ENTEK is an equal opportunity employer committed to a safe, inclusive, and drug-free workplace.
