Senior Supplier Quality ManagerCompany:The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Supplier Quality Manager to join our team in Mesa, AZ, supporting the our site in Mesa, AZ !Position Responsibilities:Servant Leadership with strong People Focus and passionate about culture transformationCohesive partnering / integration with the supply base, key program business partners, and first line leadersFocus on continuous improvement, the ability to recognize and implement opportunities to bring preventative best practices to the supply base, development of data driven initiatives aimed at reductions of quality related disruptions, and fostering a culture that embraces the Boeing Behaviors are key tenants of the position.Manages employees performing supplier quality activities to ensure that suppliers' production and quality systems, special processes, products and services meet purchase contract requirements and applicable regulatory agency and government regulationsDevelops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies to improve supplier performanceProvides education and coaching on the Quality SystemAcquires and manages resources and leads process improvementsDevelops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor's degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, business or technical fieldMore than 5 years of experience in Quality, Supplier Quality or Supplier ManagementMore than 5 years of experience managing or leading people or teamsMore than 3 years of experience working in the aerospace industryMore than 3 years of experience with communication and presenting strategies at executive/VP levelsPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Master’s degree or higherExperience working as a Quality Engineer or Supplier Quality EngineerMore than 1 year interfacing directly with suppliersExperience working with Boeing Supply Chain tools and processes3+ years of experience working with quality systems (e.g., Boeing Quality Management System (BQMS), International Organization for Standardization (ISO9001), Aerospace Standard (AS91001))Lean Six Sigma certificationDrug Free Workplace: Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies. Travel: This position may require up to 10% travel At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
