This is a Training Manager role in the DFW area. In this role, you will be responsible for the entire sales
training lifecycle, from initial needs assessment to ongoing performance analysis. You will be a key player in driving sales force excellence by creating and delivering impactful training programs, coaching and mentoring sales professionals, and ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for new hires.

What You’ll Do

As a Training Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Needs Assessment and Curriculum Creation: Conduct comprehensive needs assessments to identify skill gaps and design a dynamic sales curriculum to address them. You will be responsible for creating engaging and relevant training materials that enhance our sales forces competency.
  • Training and Coaching: Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and coaching programs. You will provide one-on-one and group mentoring to improve sales techniques, product knowledge, and overall effectiveness.
  • Onboarding: Lead the onboarding process for all new sales hires, ensuring they are well-equipped with the necessary knowledge and tools to succeed from day one.
  • Performance Management: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure sales force effectiveness (SFE). You will conduct regular performance analysis and integrate training with our CRM.
  • Leads Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE) function including:
    - New Hire and Sales Force Training
    - Field Sales Trainer Development
    - Targeting Data Management and Analytics
    - Performance Measurement Management
    - Resource Effectiveness Measurement and Management
    - CRM Effectiveness
  • Cross Functional Leadership: Collaborate with various departments to ensure training aligns with company goals and market demands. You will lead cross-functional teams to execute training initiatives and strategic projects.
  • Event & Budget Management: Lead the planning and coordination of national sales meetings (NSM) and mid- year meeting
  • Manage the training budget and resources effectively

What You’ll Need

  • Education- College Degree (BA or BS); MBA a plus but not required

  • Prior Experience – Training, Sales

  • Demonstrable interpersonal skills

  • Ability to travel 30-40%

  • 3+ years Training and/or Medical Device Sales experience
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Possess a collaborative mindset and work well as part of a team
  • Superior time management abilities and capable of meeting deadlines
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Ability to build strong relationships with cross functional team members
  • Willing to approach job responsibilities and beyond with a “roll-up-your-sleeves” attitude and work ethic

Perks of the Job

Compensation: 

  • Base salary: $115-125k

  • At Plan: Additional 15% bonus based on the company performance
