Safety Coordinator (on-site) Location: Granite City, IL Company: Dynamic Transit Are you passionate about transportation safety and committed to maintaining the highest compliance standards in the trucking industry?  Dynamic Transit is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Safety Coordinator to support our fleet operations transporting freight across the lower 48 states.  This role is critical in ensuring compliance with all DOT and FMCSA regulations while promoting a strong company-wide “Safety First” culture.  The ideal candidate understands that safety is not just a requirement — it is a core operational priority that protects our drivers, customers, and company. Pay is based on experience. Position is on-site only Position Responsibilities: Promote and support a positive safety culture throughout the company Monitor and maintain compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations for fleet operations Review, document, and follow up on accidents and incidents involving company equipment for insurance claims, reporting, and collection purposes Coordinate accident-related documentation and communication with drivers, insurance representatives, and internal departments Assist in maintaining safety compliance records Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism Complete additional safety-related duties as assigned Position Requirements: Strong knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations and transportation safety compliance Must be safety-minded and committed to leading and supporting a “Safety First” culture Transportation or trucking industry experience is required Excellent organizational, communication, and follow-up skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and general computer skills Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively Strong written and verbal communication skills If you are driven, organized, and committed to keeping drivers and operations safe while ensuring regulatory compliance, we encourage you to apply and become part of the Dynamic Transit team.
