This position is responsible for helping develop and improve safety procedures to minimize risk to employees and company assets while collaborating with team members to ensure safe work practices and a safe working environment.Key Responsibilities/Essential FunctionsSafety Compliance & AuditsConduct field evaluations and safety compliance audits to ensure safety is integrated into daily operations.Complete audits and inspections to verify all worksites are compliant with company HSE policies and OSHA regulations.Monitor and evaluate daily operations and planning procedures to identify risks and improve safety practices.Document safety violations and noncompliance issues for management review and follow-up.Keep inventory of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) on hand when visiting the field.Risk Assessment & Incident ManagementAnalyze accident data, new processes, and equipment for potential safety concerns.Partner with management to conduct accident and incident investigations, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.Respond to incidents during both working and non-working hours and participate in alternative weekend callouts as needed.Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to support incident response.Safety Training & Employee SupportConduct new hire safety orientation for all new hires.Provide safety training for existing employees requiring certification renewals or additional safety instruction.Promote safe work practices and support safety awareness across the organization.Prepare and present materials for safety meetings and trainings.Operational CollaborationWork closely with district-level management to support daily operations and safety initiatives.Perform other duties as assigned.Required Qualifications:OSHA 10 & 30HAZWOPER 40 Hour preferredWilling to travel up to 80% of the timeMinimum of 3 years of safety-related experience preferably in the oil and gas environmentBilingual (Spanish/English)First Aid/CPR/AED Training Certification (Preferred)PEC Safeland (Preferred)H2S Training Certification (Preferred) Physical Demand and Work EnvironmentMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds 70-80% of the time will be spent driving to and walking on location sites20-30% of the time will be spent sitting in the office working on administrative tasksAbility to work outdoors in all weather conditionsMust be able to commute to Ault, COCompany RequirementsLegally authorized to work in the United States Must be able to pass a background check and drug screeningValid driver's license with clean MVRCompensation and Benefits:Salary: $70,000 per yearOvertime: ExemptBenefits: • Medical, dental, and vision insurance including options for dependents • Additional voluntary coverage options • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) • Paid Family and Medical Leave • 401(k) with company match • Weekly accrued paid time off (PTO) and paid holidays Company Paid: 8 Holidays*Short-term disability $25,000 life insurance and AD&D Employee assistance program Referral Program 1888 Industrial Services provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, genetic information, age, or any other status protected under federal, state, and/or local law.
