Job Description Quality Technician 37056559Hourly pay: $25/hrWorksite: Electronics Testing and Measurement Company (Colorado Springs, CO 80907 - Onsite)W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program, PSL40 hours/week, 22 Month AssignmentA leading technology company seeks a Quality Technician to conduct mechanical inspections of precision machined components and calibrations of metrology equipment. The company offers a family-oriented work environment.Quality Technician Responsibilities:Mechanical inspection of precision machined components: CMM (Optical and Touch Probe), Interferometry, Laser Micrometer, and other advanced metrology equipment.Calibrations of metrology equipment.CAPA Corrective and Preventive Action support in relation to NCR (Non-Conformance Reports) with thorough documentation.Other duties as assigned.Quality Technician Qualifications:University degree, specialized training/certification, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Advanced Metrology experience highly desired including: Programmable optical measurement tools (optical CMM), Keyence Image Measurement system, Interferometers used for surface finish and form analysis, Laser micrometersExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience interpreting specifications including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)Work experience in a QC and manufacturing environment is essential.Lean, Corrective and Preventive Action, root cause investigation, Kaizen (continuous improvement-PDCA) knowledge and understanding preferred.ISO 9001, AS9100, and / or FDA Certifications preferred.Shift:11 am-7:30 pm or 12 pm-8:30 pm
