With manufacturing units in 12 countries and present in more than 135 countries, WEG has more than 40,000 employees worldwide.Marathon Electric is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Technician to support our commitment to manufacturing excellence by ensuring products meet rigorous quality standards and customer expectations.Responsibilities:Manage QMS Documentation: Draft, review, update, and control the Quality Management System documentation (such as the Quality Manual, Standard Operating Procedures - SOPs, and policies)Coordinate External Audits: Act as the primary focal point and guide for external certification bodies and customers during ISO 9001 auditsExecute Internal Audits: Plan, conduct, and document internal audits across all critical processes and departmentsManage non-conformities from auditsAlignment with areas: Establish continuous contact with support areas (Sales, Engineering, PPC, Purchasing) to ensure their specific processes are harmonized with the QMS and meet ISO 9001 standardsManage supplier quality communications and ensure credits for non-conforming materialsRequired Qualifications:Minimum of a two-year associates degree preferably within Quality or ManufacturingUnderstanding of ISO 9001 standardsAbility to audit and provide written and verbal communication of the findingsExperience in mechanical measurementsDesired Qualifications:Proficient using Microsoft 365Advanced measure systems, CMM, Laser inspectionsBenefits401(k) with company matchMedical, dental, and vision insuranceHealth savings account (HSA) and flexible spending account (FSA)Life insurancePaid time offTuition reimbursementEmployee assistance programEmployee discountReferral programFounded in 1961, WEG is a global electric-electronic equipment company, operating mainly in the capital goods sector with solutions in electric machines, automation and paints for several sectors, including infrastructure, steel, pulp and paper, oil and gas, mining, among many others.WEG stands out in innovation by constantly developing solutions to meet the major trends in energy efficiency, renewable energy and electric mobility.
