Scope of leadership roleAs Quality Manager, you’ll lead and drive Kilian’s quality strategy, ensuring that the company’s precision bearing products and assemblies consistently meet internal standards and rigorous customer expectations. You will manage quality systems that uphold Kilian’s ISO and IATF certifications and champion continuous improvement, defect prevention, and operational excellence throughout the manufacturing lifecycle, for both the Syracsee and Toronto sites. Key ResponsibilitiesLead the implementation, maintenance, and evolution of Kilian’s Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO and IATF requirements.Serve as the primary internal owner of quality documentation, control plans, procedures, and quality metrics.Oversee planning, execution, and reporting of Statistical Process Control (SPC), capability studies, and manufacturing process controls to reduce variation in products and processes.Work closely with production, engineering, and inspection teams to ensure product quality from incoming material through final assembly.Lead internal and external quality audits, including those for certifications, customers, and regulatory bodies.Ensure corrective and preventive actions are tracked, implemented, and verified.Act as a cross-functional interface for customer quality requirements, complaints, and technical exchanges.Ensure timely response to customer non-conformances and facilitate resolution with production and engineering.Partner with procurement and suppliers to define expectations consistent with Kilian’s supplier manual and customer requirements.Monitor supplier performance and coordinate corrective action as needed.Champion continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, 5S, root cause analysis) to enhance quality, reduce defects, and improve process efficiency.Build quality awareness and capability through training and leadership development.PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related technical field — or equivalent experience.7+ years of progressive quality leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with precision machined metal components.Strong knowledge of ISO/IATF quality standards and structured problem-solving methodologies.Experience with statistical tools and quality metrics.PreferredExperience in bearing manufacturing, automotive/industrial OEM supply chains, or similar precision components.Professional quality certification (e.g., ASQ CQE, CQM).Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams and managing quality system audits.BenefitsMedical, Dental, Vision and Prescription Drug CoverageSpending accounts (HSA, Health Care FSA and Dependent Care FSA)Paid Time Off and Holidays401k Retirement Plan with Matching Employer ContributionsLife and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) InsurancePaid LeavesTuition AssistanceAbout Regal RexnordRegal Rexnord is a publicly held global industrial manufacturer with 30,000 associates around the world who help create a better tomorrow by providing sustainable solutions that power, transmit and control motion.
