Description Our client is seeking a Quality Manager to lead their food safety and quality systems in Madison, WI. Quality Manager (food manufacturing/industry exp. req.) Responsibilities • Oversee quality management team (5) and execute department initiatives • Lead Food Safety and Quality Systems including HACCP and recall readiness• Spend significant time on the manufacturing floor daily• Develop, implement, and continuously improve quality processes • Oversee all audits and ensure ongoing compliance.• Manage testing programs and use data to drive improvements• Support supplier and customer quality requirements across teams • Control inventory of expiring, obsolete, or nonconforming materials• Provide technical support, including root cause analysis • Review batch records and documentation for compliance • Maintain certifications and licenses Quality Manager (food manufacturing/industry exp. req.) Qualifications • 5+ years of quality experience in food manufacturing or food safety• Strong expertise in root cause analysis and CAPA implementation• Proven experience supporting audits (customer, regulatory, or certification)• Hands-on experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) • Able and willing to work onsite daily required
