(Onsite)Quality Manager - People & Process Leader with 5+ Years of Quality Experience and a BS in Engineering or ScienceThe Quality Manager will oversee end‑to‑end manufacturing and fabrication of water filtration equipment, including laser and saw cutting, welding, painting, and final assembly. This role partners closely with the Sr. Quality Manager and the Thomasville Operations Director, working cross‑functionally to drive quality excellence and support key business objectives.This is a fully on‑site role located at the Thomasville, GA campus. Standard working hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The Quality Manager is responsible for supporting all quality needs across the Thomasville operations.Thomasville, Georgia is experiencing strong and sustained growth, driven by a revitalized downtown district, ongoing industrial expansion, and an exceptional quality of life. Widely recognized as one of the premier small towns in the South, Thomasville offers an attractive environment for both businesses and professionals seeking long-term opportunity ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership:Lead and develop a team of five direct reports using the MDI (Manage for Daily Improvement) processProvide coaching, feedback, and daily supportQuality Data & Reporting:Collect, analyze, and report on Customer DPD (Defects per Delivery), Supplier PPM (Parts per Million), COPQ (Cost of Poor Quality), and NCRs (Non‑Conformance Reports)Root Cause & Problem Solving:Champion the 8‑Step problem‑solving methodologyLead and support RCCA activitiesCustomer Focus:Understand customer requirements and integrate feedback into quality processesNon‑Conformance Management:Oversee the NCR process and ensure timely resolutionSupplier Quality:Monitor supplier performance and lead supplier‑related root cause investigationsEngineering Collaboration:Partner with Engineering to track and resolve drawing improvements (ECMs)Quality Systems & Documentation:Develop and implement quality procedures and standardsMaintain quality records, reports, and documentationImplement relevant quality checks and processes (e.g., PPAP)ISO 9001 Leadership:Lead the Thomasville site through ISO 9001 certificationCustomer Returns:Manage Quality RMAs and drive corrective actionsContinuous Improvement:Lead initiatives to improve quality performance and operational effectivenessCulture & Leadership:Model behaviors aligned with being inspired to innovate, empowered to lead, and accountable to deliverPerform other duties as assignedHigh‑Impact BehaviorsServant‑leadership mindsetStrong listening and communication skillsAbility to balance strategic focus with day‑to‑day tactical executionProficiency in problem solving and RCCA implementationAbility to read and interpret blueprints; GD&T experience requiredExperience in quality inspection and auditingAbility to create and revise ISO 9001‑compliant documentationAbility to travel as neededQualificationsBS degree in Engineering or a Science field (required)ISO 9001 or equivalent experience (required)5+ years of Quality Manufacturing experience (required)5+ years of Quality Management experience (preferred)Certifications such as CQA, CQE, or Six Sigma Green Belt are a plusAdditional InformationXylem does not provide visa sponsorship for this position.Estimated salary range: $90,000–$130,000 plus bonusActual starting pay depends on experience, skills, and locationComprehensive benefits package includes:Medical, Dental, Vision401(k) with company contributionPaid time off and parental leaveTuition reimbursement#LI-JRT05Join the global Xylem team to be a part of innovative technology solutions transforming water usage, conservation, and re-use.
