You’ll provide expert consultation, drive performance improvement efforts, and help shape programs that elevate both clinical excellence and patient outcomes.Key Responsibilities:Provide quality and patient safety consulting, analysis, and improvement facilitation for assigned departmentsDevelop, implement, and enhance programs that uphold and advance quality and safety standardsAnalyze internal and external data to inform strategic decision-makingLead and support significant event reviews and performance improvement initiativesServe as a subject matter expert on quality and patient safety priorities aligned with organizational goalsCollaborate closely with QPSS colleagues across sites, functioning as one unified teamThis position is currently based out of NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia Hospital at 168th Street with possible travel to any of our NYP locations. The schedule is full-time Monday-Friday. Preferred CriteriaMaster's degree in a related fieldClinical Licensure (RN, PA, NP, MD, Nurse Midwife, RD, PT/OT, PharmD)PMP or Six-Sigma/Lean certification3+ years of project management experienceStrong data analytics and interpretation skillsRequired Criteria Bachelor's degree 5+ years of experience in a healthcare related position, preferably in Quality and Performance ImprovementAdvanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc)Familiarity with quality and performance improvement methodsJoin a healthcare system where employee engagement is at an all-time high.
