Production Quality Technician

Position Overview Freezing Point is the fastest growing frozen beverage company in the U.S. and the maker of Frazil, 100% Juice Frazil, Frazil Energy, and Café Tango! We are a growing, high-performance team in search of a Production Quality Technician to support quality and safety standards within our food manufacturing operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring finished products meet Frazil’s quality expectations by performing hands-on inspections, organoleptic evaluations, and in-process quality checks while collaborating closely with the production team. Shift: 6:00am – 3:00pm (1-hour lunch), aligned with the production schedule. Key Responsibilities Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities: Conduct organoleptic evaluations of finished and in-process products, including assessing color, flavor, texture, and overall quality Verify code dates, batch numbers, and product seals on production lines to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards Collaborate with the production team to review and sign off on product quality prior to packaging Perform intermittent quality checks throughout the production process Accurately document quality findings and report any deviations or concerns to management Assist in training new production staff on quality control procedures and expectations Follow all food safety, sanitation, and quality policies and procedures Other duties as assigned Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Minimum Qualifications & Competencies: Ability to work in a food manufacturing or production environment Strong attention to detail and ability to identify quality issues Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices (training provided) Ability to communicate effectively with team members and leadership Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving quality standards and procedures Ability to work both independently and as part of a team No formal education or prior industry experience required Preferred Qualifications & Competencies: Previous experience in food manufacturing, quality assurance, or production environments Bilingual (Spanish/English) Familiarity with quality documentation or inspection processes Required Soft Skills: Detail-oriented with a strong sense of accountability for product quality Collaborative mindset with a willingness to support production teams Reliable, consistent, and able to follow established procedures Open to feedback and passionate about continuous improvement Comfortable asking questions and escalating concerns when necessary Physical Demands & Working Conditions: Continuously walking, standing, climbing, stooping, bending, and reaching in all directions. Includes climbing stairs and ladders.
