You are attentive, efficient and committed, and your leadership will ensure your property remains a safe, enjoyable workplace and travel destination. You will train all colleagues and officers on all aspects of security and safety.     What you will be doing: Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly serviceOversee the day-to-day management of the Security departmentEnsure overall guest and Colleague safety through the implementation and review of hotel-wide security measuresAct as a liaison within the community and policing forces to maintain awareness of current security issuesBe knowledgeable in the use of all security equipment, i.e. radios, cameras, electronic lock systems and report any safety, security and/or fire hazards or violationsActively participate in the design and execution of the Emergency Preparedness PlanAssist to lead a team of Security agents via strong performance managementEnsure the safety and security of our guests, employees, assets and facilities by conducting regular patrolsConduct monthly key audits and safety audits as requestedRendering First-Aid to guests and employees as required by internal guidelines.Ensure all incidents are documented as required by internal guidelines.Assist to manage the departmental budgetBalance operational, administrative and Colleague needsFollow department policies, procedures and service standardsFollow all safety policiesOther duties as assignedQualificationsYour experience and skills include:Previous security experience in a luxury hotel environment is requiredPreviously leadership experience in similar role requiredStrong interpersonal and problem solving abilities Highly responsible & reliable Ability to lead by example, believe in a strong team culture and set the scene for high performanceComputer literate in Microsoft Window applications requiredCertification in CPR First Aid required  Highly responsible & reliableAbility to work well under pressure in a fast paced environmentAbility to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all timesAdditional InformationWhat is in it for you:Salary Range: USD$80,000 to USD$85,000Discounted hotel rooms and food & beverage rates to employees at our sister properties around the globe.We provide learning programs through our Academies to promote growth and development so that you can perform at your full potentialOpportunity to develop your talent and grow within your property and across the world!Ability to make a difference through our Corporate Social Responsibility activities, like Planet 21 and WATCHCompetitive Health Benefit Package within 30 days of employment401(k)/Roth IRA Eligibility after 60 days of employment Cell Phone Usage ReimbursementYour team and working environment:What was true in 1966 remains true to this day: The Century Plaza Hotel is part of a visionary development intent on doing what others could only imagine.
