ROMTech, through its subsidiary ROMTherapy™, delivers a clinically driven, home-based cardiac rehabilitation program utilizing telemedicine and connected medical devices. We are now looking for Exercise Physiologists to provide remote clinical care and exercise supervision to patients enrolled in our virtual cardiac rehabilitation program, working under the direction of the Director of Clinical Services.
We have the following shifts available:
Cardiac Rehab Specialist: Late - Mon-Fri, 10:40am - 7:25pm CST
Cardiac Rehab Specialist, Float: Mon-Fri. This role requires flexibility to provide coverage for Cardiac Rehab Specialists during planned and unplanned PTO. The Float Specialist must be available to work early, mid, and late shifts, with total weekly hours not exceeding 40 hours.
Responsibilities:
• Monitor, assess, treat, and document patient tolerance of exercise via ROMTech virtual user platform.
• Provide exercise, lifestyle modification, and disease management education for patients and family members.
• Provide exercise prescription for patients utilizing clinical assessment data, patient status, and current medication regimen, and update prescription according to patient response.
• Complete all required patient documentation, including ITP and session notes in a timely and HIPAA-compliant manner.
• Recognize contraindications to exercise, abnormal patient responses, and respond appropriately per protocol.
• Communicate with the Director, Clinical Services supervising physician, and other appropriate staff, both verbally and in writing.
• Interpret patients' ECGs and biometric data efficiently and effectively.
• Compile current medication list and ensure patients fully understand the reason for and actions of all medications.
• Provide both personal and user feedback related to product, meeting with the Director, Cardiac Rehab and Product Manager to assist with product development as needed.
• Assist with development of educational content as needed.
• Other duties as may arise from time to time and as may be assigned to the employee.
