Associate Quality Director

Associate Quality DirectorOur Building Division is currently seeking an experienced Associate Quality Director for our Chicago, IL Corporate Office Headquarters. This position will work closely with our Quality Director to lead and enhance the company’s Quality Management Program across the Building Division.The Associate Quality Director will collaborate with Project Executives, Project Managers, Superintendents, and other operations staff, as well as subcontractors, clients, and third-party partners, to foster and maintain a strong culture of quality across all projects.Responsibilities:Lead Project Quality Kick-Off Trainings to establish expectations and standardsConduct Project Quality Evaluations and ongoing assessmentsPerform quality-focused site visits and walkthroughs (nationwide travel required)Review and evaluate Work Plans, Preparatory Meetings, and Initial Inspections DocumentationProactively drive quality issue prevention strategiesLead troubleshooting efforts for quality-related challengesDeliver quality-focused presentations and training sessions to both small and large groupsAnalyze and report on quality performance data and trendsQualifications:10+ years of related construction or architectural experience5+ years of quality experienceDegree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering or other related field of studyExpertise in building enclosure systems is highly preferredTechnical knowledge of:structural steelstructural & architectural concrete/precastMEP-FP Systemsinterior finishesDeep understanding of the building process and work planningExcellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to influence and leadProven ability to develop and deliver training programs  Aptitude in MSFT Office Apps (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Office)Position Location: Chicago, ILSalary Range: $125,000 to $225,000The Walsh Group, Ltd.
